New recipe for Irn Bru!

Panic has struck now when AG Barr who makes the so famous soft drink in Scotland, Irn Bru, has officially announced there will be a new recipe from January 2018 containing less than half amount of sugar compared to the previous recipe. The sugar levels will be down to below 5 grams per 100 ml, instead of ?10 grams. Calories per can will be down to 66 kcal from 140 kcal.

One reason for the change of recipe is because of the in the UK coming sugar tax which starts in April 2018.

Needless to say, stockpiling has started and protestlists are popping up everywhere!
